Many (maybe most) supplements are marketing hype over results. The supplement reviewer is designed to help you figure out what works and what doesn't through peer reviewed research.
How do you rate supplements?
How are you supposed to rate supplements on your own? Do you take your friend's advice? Personal trainer's advice? Popular Instagram user's advice? You can, but what do they really know? How are they coming to their supplement conclusions?
The right answer is reading peer reviewed journal articles. Other people's opinions are great, but they're not real research.
Peer Reviewed Supplement Research
This supplement reviewer does the work for you. It looks at specific claims (examples: increases strength, increases muscle mass) of supplements (examples: whey protein, creatine, branched chain amino acids..) and grades them.
Easy and Objective Supplement Reviews
The supplement reviewer rates each claim based on the findings of peer reviewed research. It grades claims on a three point scale (3=works, 2=might work, 1=doesn't work) based on actual research. This allows you to make an educated decision on whether or not to purchase a product.
Claims are graded on a 3 point scale. The rating is based on whether the evidence supports or refutes the claim. Multiple studies' conclusions are averaged to give you a broad picture on whether or not a supplement works.
|Rating||What does this rating mean?|
|3||The evidence supports the claim (the supplement does what it claims)|
|2||Some evidence exists to support the claim (the supplement MAY do what it claims)|
|1||The evidence does not support the claim (the supplement does not do what it claims)|
