Macronutrients give us energy in the form of calories and micronutrients don't. Some vitamins (B vitamins) are involved in the metabolism or utilization of calories and are associated with energy, so it's thought that taking more will give you more energy. The reason that this isn't true is because your body only needs a certain amount of each vitamin.
If you supplement over that amount, your body will get rid of it and you'll be wasting your money. If you have a balanced diet and are taking a multivitamin, extra supplementation won't give you more energy.
If your diet isn't complete and you take in a large amount of a vitamin, you might feel different because for a change, your body is getting the vitamins it needs. So the answer to this question is that no vitamins will give you an energy boost.
