healthier but give you more energy throughout the day. Good carbs, also known as complex, are found in whole wheats, oats, vegetables, fruits and some cereals.
Many of your favorite snacks now come from ingredients that contain whole wheats - make sure you read the label. Bad sources of carbohydrates also known as simple carbs come from junk food including soda, candy, chocolate and anything that is high in sugar. Try to avoid simple sugars as they are digested quickly, giving you a sugar high and eventually a crash.
